Waiting On Him to Show Me the Way

PC3 Production Team,

I have been asked to share what God has been teaching me right now. I have been learning about Trust. About 2 weeks ago, I felt God telling me that it was time to look for a new job. Without a job lined up, I submitted my letter of resignation for June 29th (I work in a school and that is the last day of the school year). It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I am not the type of person that can quit one job without another one ready. However, I felt that God was telling me to trust him. Over the last several days and weeks, I have been in His word constantly and He has shown me over and over that He will take care of me. I have also learned that there is more to it that just trust. Along with trust must come patience. I have had to do what I can to find a job, but also wait on God to show me the next step. While I could immediately go out and find the next job that is available, God has shown me that he has something for me and I need to be patient and wait on him and that is something else that I am not good with either. He is growing me and I know that my faith is growing as a result.

I would love to be able to talk about how God has brought me through it and I am on the other side. Unfortunately, I still haven’t found a job. I am continuing to trust him and wait on him to show me the way.
